Two-Stage implants:
First stage is placing dental implants in the jaw with less discomfort as possible
Maintaining waiting time of about 3 – 6 months time frame (3 months for lower jaw teeth and 6 months for upper jaw teeth) to bond with bone.
Temporary immediate teeth replacement option can be considered if involved teeth are in esthetic areas like front teeth.
The implants are then uncovered and extensions attached after stipulated time frame.
After a week gap, permanent teeth will be made as a bridge or individual depends on the need.
Single-Stage implants:
The system uses placing implants and fixing abutments (extensions) too
Replacement temporary acrylic teeth for 3-4 months and replace it with permanent teeth after that.
Advise the patient not to chew hard food for 3-6 months of healing period and it is good for replacing multiple front teeth so that patient will have fixed temporary teeth until the waiting time without having need to remove every night.
